Privacy notice
Closed beta · last updated 26 October 2026
We keep as little about you as we can to run the game. We do not sell your data, show ads or use tracking cookies.
What we keep
- Your email address, to sign you in and send account emails (confirming your address, resetting your password).
- Your password, only as a one-way Argon2id hash. We cannot read it.
- Your age band, not your birthday. We ask for your date of birth to check you are 13 or older and then throw it away. If you are under 18 we keep only the month you turn 16 and the month you turn 18, so the purchase and messaging rules can lift on their own. For adults we keep nothing.
- Your game: your chief's name, village, heroes, items, battles and a log of every resource change, so the game is fair and we can fix mistakes.
- Chat: world messages for 7 days, guild and direct messages for 30 days. When a message is reported, a copy is kept with the report for up to 90 days so a moderator can review it.
- Sign-in sessions: the IP address and browser of each session, until you sign out or it expires.
- Purchases: what you bought, the amount and Stripe's payment reference. Stripe handles your card; we never see the card number.
Who else handles it
- Our hosting provider, which runs our servers.
- Our email provider, which delivers account emails.
- Stripe, for payments, under Stripe's privacy policy.
Cookies
The website sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in. It is needed for the game to work.
Deleting your account
Open Settings in the game and choose Delete account. It takes effect straight away and cannot be undone. We remove your email address, password, two-factor setup, chief's name, chat messages you sent or received, blocks and unused invite codes, and sign you out everywhere. What remains is an anonymous record of game and payment history with nothing that names you, kept so the game's accounts still add up and, for payments, for as long as tax law requires. Copies of reported messages expire with the report.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to support@cyphervoid.com from the email on your account. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to your local data protection authority.
