Terms of play

Closed beta · last updated 26 October 2026

These terms apply when you create a Cypher Void account or play the game. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not play.

The closed beta

Cypher Void is in a closed beta. The game is unfinished: things will break, balance will change, and we may reset progress, including items, heroes and Gems, before or at launch. We will tell players in the game before a planned reset. The beta can end at any time.

Who can play

Play fair

Do not cheat, use bots or scripts, exploit bugs on purpose, tamper with the game or its servers, buy or sell accounts, or try to get at other players' accounts. If you find a bug that gives an advantage, please report it instead of using it.

Be decent

Do not harass, threaten or bully anyone, post hateful, sexual or illegal content, spam, impersonate staff, or share anyone's personal details. Players can block and report messages. Moderators can remove messages, mute chat, and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules.

Gems and purchases

While Gem packs are in test mode no real money is charged. When real purchases open, Gems and items are a licence to use them in the game; they have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. Payments are handled by Stripe. If a payment is refunded or charged back, the Gems it bought are removed, and an account that has already spent them may be locked until it is sorted out.

Your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the game. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. See the Privacy notice for what happens to your data.

The game itself

The game, its art, names and code belong to the Cypher Void team. We provide the beta as it is, without any promise that it will be available, error free or keep your progress. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we will say so in the game when we make a significant change. Questions? Write to support@cyphervoid.com.
